Compatibility

Will it work with your devices?

We check the combination, not just the brand. The device, software version and intended function determine what is possible.

Three things to check in advance

01

What is installed?

Exact make and model, firmware, interfaces, energy meter and grid connection capacity.

02

What should it do?

Read data only, or also control? Record the intended function and limits for each device or cluster.

03

Does it work together?

Your installer checks support and drivers in the Connect.App, then tests measurements and control on site.

Reading data is different from controlling.

A battery, charging point, inverter or load may provide measurements without supporting the intended control commands. Your quotation or configuration specification records what your combination can do.

A brand logo, communication port or newer firmware is not proof of compatibility. Coordinate updates and changes with the supported configuration in advance.

Common questions

Which energy meter do I need?

A supported meter at the grid connection that supplies the required measurements. Your installer selects the measurement range, suitable current transformers or Rogowski coils, communication and measurement position. An existing smart meter does not automatically replace this measurement.

When do multiple devices count as one cluster?

Only as a supported cluster of the same type, with aggregated measurements and, where control is agreed, one shared control interface. Being at the same location or in one dashboard does not itself create a cluster. The count is agreed in advance.

Can an external system connect through an API?

For agreed standard integrations, we specify data, access rights, commands, limits and versions. New or custom integrations and third-party costs are separate. Energy market participation requires separate agreements.

What is tested at handover?

Measurements, measurement direction, device connectivity, agreed control and import and export limits. Also record which local functions continue if the connection fails. The EMS does not replace electrical protection.
