Careers at Regilo Systems

Trainee installer Victron / ESS / EMS

Regilo SystemsGroningen38 hours per week

Do you enjoy working with your hands, feel curious about technology and want to understand how things work? Learn to build smart energy systems with us, from the first cable to an installation you can be proud of.

Regilo Systems is looking for someone who wants to learn the installation trade and develop their knowledge of Victron, energy storage and energy management. You will work alongside experienced colleagues on real projects and take on more responsibility as your skills grow.

Do MultiPlus, Cerbo GX and ESS mean little to you yet? They soon will. Those names come up over coffee here too.

Come and meet us

This is Regilo

Regilo Systems installs and maintains energy systems that bring generation, battery storage and consumption together. We are a Victron installation partner and, within Regilo, also an EMS partner.

Together with our colleagues at Regilo Solutions, we develop our own energy management system: Regilo EMS. It controls batteries, solar panels and charging points, among other assets. Think of making smarter use of available grid capacity, limiting consumption peaks and using dynamic energy prices.

We are building a company that aims to lead in energy storage and control. You can learn the trade while helping us build it.

What will you do?

You go out on site with an experienced colleague. You start with the basics: preparation, safe working and neat installation. Step by step, you learn to connect, configure and hand over a complete energy system.

  • Help install Victron systems, battery storage and associated electrical equipment.
  • Learn to route cables, make connections and work from a diagram.
  • Discover how an energy storage system (ESS) works and how its components interact.
  • Learn to connect installations to Regilo EMS and set up Victron VRM monitoring.
  • Observe system configuration and testing, then gradually carry out more tasks yourself.
  • Help with maintenance and fault finding.
  • Learn to explain to customers what has been installed and how it works.

You do not need to know all this already. We guide you and build up your work as your skills develop. Asking questions is part of the job, even when your colleague thought they had just explained everything.

Who are we looking for?

You are interested in electrical technology and want to make it your career. You may be studying, have recently qualified or be changing careers. We would like to hear what you can already do and what you want to learn.

You also recognise yourself in the following:

  • You enjoy hands-on work and want to understand why a task is done in a particular way.
  • You are curious about batteries, inverters and smart control.
  • You work carefully and take safety seriously.
  • You ask for help when needed and are open to guidance and feedback.
  • You enjoy working with a laptop or app too. Configuration is as much a part of our trade as making connections.
  • You keep your commitments and work well with customers and colleagues.
  • You have a category B driving licence or are working towards it. A category A motorcycle licence is a bonus: many of our colleagues enjoy going for a ride together.

Do you already have experience with electrical work, repairs or your own technical projects? Tell us about it. Experience with Victron, ESS or EMS is not required. A willingness to learn is.

What do we offer?

A place to learn a technical trade and see the results of your work. Your colleagues share their knowledge, and you have room to become increasingly independent.

You can expect:

  • Practical guidance from experienced installers.
  • Varied projects involving energy storage and smart control.
  • Room to develop your knowledge of Victron, ESS and energy management.
  • Contact with the developers of our own EMS.
  • More responsibility when you are ready for it.
  • A down-to-earth workplace where we take our work seriously and still have a laugh.
  • A salary that reflects your current skills, with room to grow as you develop and take on responsibility. If you already bring additional skills that help us, we will take that into account in your pay.

Come and meet us

Tell us briefly who you are and why you want to learn this trade. A CV is welcome. Have you built, connected or repaired something you are proud of? Show us; we would like to hear the story behind it.
