The installation
An equestrian centre in Roden combines a wind turbine, solar panels, a 125 kW / 261 kWh battery and a backup generator.
The application
The installation brings together on-site generation, storage and backup power. Both day-to-day energy use and energy availability during a grid outage are part of the system design.
Regilo’s role
Regilo coordinates energy flows between generation, the battery and consumption. The project also includes participation in day-ahead and imbalance markets, requiring appropriate integrations and agreements with the energy partner.
What this example shows
Energy management and backup power can be part of the same installation. The design, available energy and settings determine which loads can keep running during a grid outage and for how long.
