The foundation of your
energy installation.
Re.Base connects the devices on your site to Regilo EMS. The current version is built on the Victron Cerbo GX MK2, with Regilo software, a power supply and a 5-port Ethernet switch in one enclosure.
The familiar,
versatile foundation.
One local controller for measurements, batteries, generation and consumption. Re.Base runs supported local controls according to the configuration and connects your installation to online platform functions.
Everything together.
The power supply, main switch and Ethernet switch are integrated into the enclosure. Arranged together for on-site installation.
Cables already connected.
A power cable with a Schuko plug and a CAT7 S/FTP network cable, both 2 metres. Supplied and connected in advance.

Network
Ethernet / Wi-Fi
Connect the controller to the local network. Modbus TCP and network devices use this connection; they are not separate physical ports.
Victron devices
VE.Direct / VE.Bus / VE.Can
Communication with compatible Victron devices. These connections are not interchangeable with Ethernet, even when the plug looks similar.
Measurements and signals
USB / RS485 / physical I/O
For supported accessories and signals. Modbus RTU uses a suitable USB/RS485 interface. Additional I/O is possible through a compatible expansion.
Software integrations
MQTT / API / Node-RED
Exchange data and build additional logic. Availability depends on software, configuration and agreed integrations.
The supplied Re.Base version and wiring diagram determine the available connections. A matching port does not automatically mean a device is supported.

Version and installation
- Controller
- Victron Cerbo GX MK2 with Regilo software.
- Dimensions (H × W × D)
- 254 × 180 × 111 mm, excluding cable glands and protruding parts. Vertical installation.
- Enclosure
- Spelsberg TK PS 2518-11-tm. Grey polystyrene with a transparent polycarbonate cover. Wall mounting, for indoor use.
- Protection rating
- IP66 for the enclosure, according to the manufacturer. Maintaining this rating requires correctly fitted, suitable cable glands and seals.
- Power supply
- Mains power through a Schuko plug; internal Mean Well supply, 12 V DC / 1.25 A.
- Main switch
- Integrated 2-pole main switch.
- Network
- Integrated 5-port Ethernet switch. The number of free ports depends on internal connections and the network connection.
- Cable entry
- Four pre-fitted cable glands.
- Connection cables
- Power cable with Schuko plug, 2 metres, and CAT7 S/FTP network cable, 2 metres. Both supplied and already connected.

- Modbus TCP; Modbus RTU through a USB/RS485 interface. Other device and API integrations depend on the agreed version.

- 2 VE.Can buses: VE.Can 1 isolated, VE.Can 2 non-isolated.
- Network / USB
- Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s; 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; 3 USB host ports.
- Inputs
- 4 digital, 4 temperature and 4 resistive tank-level inputs.
- Relays
- 2 relays with NO/NC contacts.
Some connections may be in use internally. The supplied version determines what is available for other devices.
Order, connect, activate
From your order
to a working system.
Order Re.Base through Connect.App. Your qualified installer mounts and configures the installation with Re.Connect and activates the system after testing.
Correct measurements.
A supported energy meter at the grid connection, with suitable sensors and the correct measurement direction.
Power and internet.
Power according to the product specifications and a working network. Preferably Ethernet through a router or switch with DHCP.
Compatible devices.
Supported models, firmware, drivers and communication. Your installer checks the combination before installation.
The energy meter, current sensors and additional connection materials are not included as standard. Hardware, installation and the EMS subscription are separate parts of your order.
Practical questions
Does it work without internet?
Only supported and configured local basic controls may continue. Cloud functions, synchronisation, notifications and remote support are limited or unavailable. Agree in advance which local functions remain operational in your configuration.
Which connections and devices are supported?
The supplied version and wiring diagram determine the available connections. Support depends on the combination of hardware, firmware, protocol, driver and intended function. A matching port does not automatically make a device compatible. Check compatibility →
Where can I find wiring details?
Use the full manual and the device instructions in the Connect.App. Isolate power before mounting or wiring. Do not interrupt power during updates or software installation. Standalone Cerbo GX specifications do not describe the complete Re.Base.
